RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-362
A resolution appropriating $475,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant funds for external park improvements to the South Inglewood Community Park in the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area.
WHEREAS, applications for the 2005-2006, 2006-2007, and 2007-2008 years included funds allocated to the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, a portion of these funds in the amount of $475,000 has been recommended for external park improvements to the South Inglewood Community Park to include walking track repair, ballfield conversion, and lighting improvements; and
WHEREAS, plans for the above referenced projects are available for review at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY;
SECTION 1. That $475,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area be appropriated for external park improvements to the South Inglewood Community Park to include walking track repair, ballfield conversion, and lighting improvements
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
