RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-288

A resolution approving a clinical affiliation agreement by and between Lipscomb University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide students clinical pharmacy instruction and training.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Lipscomb University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide students clinical pharmacy instruction and training; and,

WHEREAS, Lipscomb University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into an affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to provide students clinical pharmacy instruction and training; and,

WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the affiliation agreement between Lipscomb University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
