A resolution approving a clinical affiliation agreement between Tennessee State University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health Dental Clinic, to provide externship experience to students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Degree completion program.

WHEREAS, Tennessee State University wishes to enter into a clinical affiliation agreement with the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health Dental Clinic, to provide externship experience to students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Degree completion program a copy of which is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County that health professionals be trained in caring for the diverse public health and be available for the care of the citizens.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the clinical affiliation agreement between Tennessee State University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health Dental Clinic, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
