A resolution accepting a grant between the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the provision of Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program Services.

WHEREAS, the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, has awarded a one-year grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the provision of Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program Services; and,

WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the grant between the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the provision of Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program Services, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
