RESOLUTION NO. RS2007-25
A resolution appropriating $150,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds for Neighborhood Signage in the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area.
WHEREAS, application for the twenty-seventh, twenty-eighth and twenty-ninth years of the Community Development Block Grant program were approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance No. BL 2000-495, BL 2001-868 and BL 2002-1230; and
WHEREAS, the applications for the years included funds allocated to the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, a portion of these funds in the amount of $150,000, has been recommended by the Citizen Advisory Committee to be used for neighborhood signage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That $150,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to be used for neighborhood signage in the South Inglewood Neighborhood Strategy Area.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
