WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Tennessee Code Annotated Sections 12-9-101 et seq., authorizes public agencies to enter into agreements for joint undertakings, subject to approval by Council; and

WHEREAS, it is in the interests of the Metropolitan Government and the Nolensville/College Grove Utility District to enter into an agreement, as attached hereto, whereby the Metropolitan Government will provide sewerage billing service to certain parcels of land in Williamson County where Nolensville/College Grove Utility District provides water.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. The Interlocal Agreement by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Nolensville/College Grove Utility District, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the same.

SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
