A resolution amending the June 15, 2007 Agreement between the United States Department of the Army and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the J. Percy Priest Dam, Section 1135 Project in Davidson County, Tennessee.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County entered into a Project Cooperation Agreement with The Department of the Army on June 15, 2007 ; and

WHEREAS, Ordinance NO. BL2007-1447, section 2 requires that amendments to the agreement be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That amendment NO. 1 to the existing June 15, 2007 agreement between The United States Department of the Army and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for construction of the J. Percy Priest Dam, Section 1135 Project in Nashville, Tennessee, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
