RESOLUTION NO. RS2007-2117

A resolution amending Resolution No. RS2007-2084, which designated the Gaylord Opryland property as a tourist development zone and a secondary tourist development zone for the purpose of financing an expansion of the Opryland convention center facility, to substitute the map and legal description of the property designated as a tourist development zone and a secondary tourist development zone.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council by RS 2007-2084, approved a resolution designating the Gaylord Opryland property as a tourist development zone and a secondary tourist development zone; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. RS2007-2084 incorporated by reference a map and legal description of the project as Exhibit A.; and

WHEREAS, Gaylord Opryland has reviewed their plan for the expansion and they have determined that the map and legal description must be amended to reflect certain design concerns; and

WHEREAS, Gaylord Opryland has attached a revised map and legal description of the project as Exhibit A 1.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Resolution No. RS2007-2084 is hereby amended by substituting the map and legal description of the project, attached as Exhibit A to Resolution No. RS2007-2084, with a revised map and legal description, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A 1 and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

referenced in Section 1 with the attached new Exhibit A 1.
