RESOLUTION NO. RS2007-2067

A resolution repealing Resolution No. RS2007-2050, and appropriating $22,250 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) for improvements to Edmonson Park and/or other MDHA capital projects.

WHEREAS, as part of Substitute Ordinance No. BL2006-1090, the fiscal year 2006-2007 operating budget for the Metropolitan Government, the Metropolitan Council appropriated $1.95 million to a reserve account for the Council Infrastructure program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives; and

WHEREAS, on June 5, 2007, the Council adopted Resolution No. RS2007-2050 appropriating $22,250 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) to build a mini-park at the corner of 21st Avenue and Jefferson Street; and

WHEREAS, the Council now desires to repeal Resolution No. RS2007-2050, and to appropriate the funds for other MDHA projects.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Resolution No. RS2007-2050 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twenty-Two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($22,250) from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency for improvements to Edmonson Park and/or other capital projects.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
