A resolution appropriating $22,250 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency.

WHEREAS, as part of Substitute Ordinance No. BL2006-1090, the fiscal year 2006-2007 operating budget for the Metropolitan Government, the Metropolitan Council appropriated $1.95 million to a reserve account for the Council Infrastructure program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives; and

WHEREAS, the council desires to appropriate $22,250 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency to build a mini-park at the corner of 21st Avenue and Jefferson Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twenty-Two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($22,250) from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
