A resolution appropriating $1,650 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Department of Public Works.

WHEREAS, as part of Substitute Ordinance No. BL2006-1090, the fiscal year 2006-2007 operating budget for the Metropolitan Government, the Metropolitan Council appropriated $1.95 million to a reserve account for the Council Infrastructure program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives; and

WHEREAS, the council desires to appropriate $1,650 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Department of Public Works to fund the cost of signs designating “Cane Ridge Community” to be placed in council Districts 31 and 32.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of One Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($1,650) from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Department of Public Works.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
