RESOLUTION NO. RS2007-1898
A resolution appropriating $48,750 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation for improvements to the Richland Creek Greenway system.
WHEREAS, as part of Substitute Ordinance No. BL2006-1090, the fiscal year 2006-2007 operating budget for the Metropolitan Government, the Metropolitan Council appropriated $1.95 million to a reserve account for the Council Infrastructure program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives; and
WHEREAS, the council desires to appropriate $48,750 from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation for the fencing associated with the greenway project to separate the trail from a golf course.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Forty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($48,750) from the Reserve Council Infrastructure Program, Nonprofit Grants and Council Initiatives Account of the General Fund of the General Services District to the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation for improvements to the Richland Creek Greenway System.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
