A resolution approving a contract between the Metropolitan Government and SysTech International, LLC, for the provision of services relating to automobile emission testing.

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 10.103 of the Metropolitan Charter, the Metropolitan Board of Health ("Board") is responsible for administrative functions relating to the physical health of the citizens of Davidson County; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 10.104 of the Metropolitan Charter, the Board may, subject to approval by resolution of the Metropolitan Council, enter into contracts relating to the performance of its duties; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the agreement ("Agreement") attached to this resolution as Exhibit 1, the Board proposes to engage SysTech International, LLC, to provide services relating to automobile emission testing; and

WHEREAS, approval of the Agreement will further the efforts of the Board to promote the health and wellbeing of the citizens of Davidson County.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. The agreement attached as Exhibit 1 to this resolution is hereby approved and the Mayor or his designee is authorized to execute it on behalf of the Metropolitan Government.

SECTION 2. This resolution shall take affect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
