RESOLUTION NO. RS2006-1612
A resolution approving a contract for services by and between the Metropolitan Government and the Campus for Human Development to provide room and board for homeless individuals participating in substance abuse treatment through the Downtown Clinic.
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Charter Section 10.104 provides that the Board of Health has the duty to contract for such services as will further the program and policies of the board, subject to confirmation by Resolution of Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Health wishes to enter into a contract with the Campus for Human Development to provide room and board for homeless individuals participating in substance abuse treatment through the Downtown Clinic; and,
WHEREAS, the Campus for Human Development will receive payment in an amount not to exceed $50,000 for services provided under the contract, and a match from the grantee of $39,048.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the contract by and between the Metropolitan Government and the Campus for Human Development to provide room and board for homeless individuals participating in substance abuse treatment through the Downtown Clinic, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, in an amount not to exceed $50,000, and a match of $39,048, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
