A resolution congratulating Reverend H. Bruce Maxwell upon the occasion of his 30th Anniversary as Pastor of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church and commending him for his faithful service.

WHEREAS, Reverend H. Bruce Maxwell is celebrating his 30th Anniversary as Pastor of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Maxwell has served faithfully and diligently at Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Maxwell's leadership has been instrumental in Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church sharing the gospel; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Maxwell has always been dedicated to meeting the needs of those in his church and in the community; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Maxwell is married to his devoted wife, Evon Benton Maxwell; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Maxwell and Evon have two children: daughters Michelle and Courtney; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Council to recognize and commend the dedicated service of citizens in the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County, Tennessee:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as congratulating Reverend H. Bruce Maxwell upon the occasion of his 30th Anniversary as Pastor of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church, and commend him for his faithful and dedicated service.

Section 2. The Metropolitan Council Office is directed to prepare a copy of this Resolution to be presented to Reverend H. Bruce Maxwell.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
