A resolution authorizing the Metropolitan Department of Law to compromise and settle the claim of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County against the Mary H. Hutto for $3,000.00.

Whereas, Mary H. Hutto was involved in a automobile accident with a Metropolitan Police Department vehicle on Bell Road and both vehicles sustained property damage as a result thereof; and

Whereas, the Metropolitan Department of Law believes that the settlement listed in Section 1 is fair and reasonable and recommends that this claim be compromised and settled and that this amount be accepted from Mary H. Hutto in full.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: The Metropolitan Department of Law is authorized to compromise and settle its claim against Mary H. Hutto for the amount of $3,000.00, which amount should be accepted from Mary H. Hutto in full.

Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
