RESOLUTION NO. RS2006-1537
A resolution approving a contract by and between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the training of Vanderbilt medical residents through participation in the Metropolitan Government's Tuberculosis Elimination Program.
Whereas, Vanderbilt University has developed a Residency/Fellowship Program in Infectious Disease; and,
Whereas, the Metropolitan Government would benefit from the participation of Vanderbilt residents in the Tuberculosis Elimination Program; and,
Whereas, the Board of Health has executed a contract with Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the participation of Vanderbilt medical residents in the Metropolitan Government's Tuberculosis Elimination Program, attached hereto.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the contract by and between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Board of Health, for the training of Vanderbilt medical residents through participation in the Metropolitan Government's Tuberculosis Elimination Program, as attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
