A resolution recognizing Miss Maryline Mofdy Boules, 2006 Salutatorian of Antioch High School.

WHEREAS, it is fitting to pause and pay tribute to those students who through their natural talents and unflagging commitment to academic excellence have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and

WHEREAS, Miss Maryline Mofdy Boules is one such exceptional student, who was named Salutatorian of the 2006 graduating class of Antioch High School; and

WHEREAS, through diligent study, steady composure during examinations, and steadfast commitment of time and talent, Miss. Boules has achieved outstanding academic success, and has joined the ranks of the best and brightest students in Tennessee and our country; and

WHEREAS, in her remarkable high school career, Miss. Boules has earned an exemplary grade point average of 99%, and her display of intellectual aptitude and ambition surely bodes well for her future success; and

WHEREAS, no stranger to honors and accolades, Miss. Boules scholarly achievements include Who's Who Among American High School Students and the Principal's List, and she is also an active member of the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) club; and

WHEREAS, as a young woman of unsurpassed character and commitment Maryline's involvement with her church as a member of the choir, day camp volunteer and children's church choir instructor along with her many community activities greatly contribute to the betterment of her community and reflect the true spirit of volunteerism; and

WHEREAS, Miss Maryline Boules' noteworthy achievement is a tremendous source of pride for her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Magda Boules, her school and her community; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognizes 2006 Antioch High School Salutatorian, Miss Maryline Mofdy Boules, on her impressive academic achievement, and extend to her our best wishes for a happy, successful future.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Miss Maryline Mofdy Boules, 2006 Salutatorian of Antioch High School.

Section 2. The Metropolitan Council Office is directed to prepare a copy of this Resolution to be presented to Miss. Maryline Mofdy Boules.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
