A resolution approving Amendment 1 to the Lease Agreement with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, which was approved by BL2005-509. (Proposal No. 2004M-105U-13).

Whereas, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Director of Public Property Administration has entered into a lease agreement with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority for space located at 1417 Murfreesboro Road, Nashville, Tennessee, shown on Exhibit A hereto; and

Whereas, said Agreement was approved by the Metropolitan Council by ordinance (Bill No. BL2005-509), which ordinance provided that amendments to the Agreement may be approved by Resolution of Council; and

Whereas, the parties to the Agreement now desire to amend the Agreement, in order to add certain language required for Federal Aviation Administrative approval, and inclusion of language governing future rental rate adjustments, and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this Amendment be approved.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee:
Section 1. The proposed amendment to the lease between The Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Director of Public Property Administration and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (attached) is hereby approved.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
