A resolution appropriating $159,200 for the Metropolitan Planning Commission pursuant to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation for an ozone action program.

WHEREAS, the Tennessee Department of Transportation has awarded a grant to the Metropolitan Planning Commission in an amount not to exceed $159,200.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the funds received pursuant to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation for an ozone action program, as attached hereto and incorporated herein, in an amount not to exceed $159,200, are hereby appropriated to the Metropolitan Planning Commission.

Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
