A resolution approving a grant agreement by and between the Metropolitan Board of Health and Center for Youth Issues to provide community prevention intervention services for children in the Planning Area 5 (East) region of Davidson County.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and Center for Youth Issues wish to enter into a grant agreement for the Center's provision of services related to the Community Prevention Initiative for Children, to expire on June 30, 2006.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the Grant Agreement by and between the Metropolitan Board of Health and Center for Youth Issues in an amount not to exceed $40,000, to provide community prevention intervention services for children in the Planning Area 5 (East) region of Davidson County, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
