A resolution appropriating $427,306 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the construction of site work and infrastructure improvements in the Sam Levy Target Area related to the redevelopment of the Sam Levy Homes.

WHEREAS, applications for the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, and thirtieth years of the Community Development Block Grant program were approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance Nos. BL2002-1230, BL2003-64, and BL2004-425; and

WHEREAS, the applications for the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, and thirtieth years included funds for the construction of site work and infrastructure improvements in the Sam Levy Target Area related to the redevelopment of the Sam Levy Homes; and

WHEREAS, plans for the above referenced project are available for review at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and

Now, Therefore, be it resolved by The Council of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That $427,306 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to the Sam Levy Target Area be appropriated for construction of site work and infrastructure improvements.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
