A resolution approving a contract by and between the Metropolitan Board of Health and Vanderbilt University for the Health Department's participation in the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium.

WHEREAS, the Board of Health and Vanderbilt University wish to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, pursuant to which the Health Department will receive $70,115.99 from Vanderbilt University and will participate in the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this contract be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract by and between the Metropolitan Board of Health and Vanderbilt University for the payment of $70,115.99 to the Board of Health and for the Health Department to participate in the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
