A resolution initiating the rezoning of 31.42 acres from R20 district to RS20 district property located at Vailwood Drive and at Skyline Drive, for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee.

WHEREAS, Section 17.40.740 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of the Metropolitan Government, provides in part that zoning application fees shall be waived for any large area rezonings initiated by the Metropolitan Council to implement the general plan; and

WHEREAS, the Council desires to initiate the rezoning of 31.42 acres of property located at Vailwood Drive and at Skyline Drive, for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee in accordance with Section 17.40.740.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby initiates the rezoning of 31.42 acres of property from R20 district to RS20 district property located at Vailwood Drive and at Skyline Drive, all of which is more particularly described by the list of addresses and map and parcel numbers and attached hereto and incorporated herein as "Exhibit A", and on the map attached hereto and incorporated herein as "Exhibit B", for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
