A resolution initiating the rezoning of 17.34 acres from RS7.5 to RS20, property located west of Dickerson Pike and along the north side of Pine Ridge Drive, for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee.

WHEREAS, Section 17.40.740 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of the Metropolitan Government, provides in part that zoning application fees shall be waived for any large area rezonings initiated by the Metropolitan Council to implement the general plan; and

WHEREAS, the Council desires to initiate the rezoning of a 17.34-acre parcel of property located west of Dickerson Pike and along the north side of Pine Ridge Drive for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee in accordance with Section 17.40.740.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby initiates the rezoning of 17.34 acres from RS7.5 to RS20, property located west of Dickerson Pike and along the north side of Pine Ridge Drive, for the purpose of waiving the zoning application fee.

Section 2. The Metropolitan County Council hereby determines that the rezoning of said property satisfies the requirements of Section 71.40.740.B.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
