RESOLUTION NO. RS2004-507
A resolution accepting $23,068.61 in compromise and settlement of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County’s property damage claim against Warner Music Group/Deaton Flanigen Productions.
Whereas, on April 15, 2004, the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge deck was damaged while Warner Music Group/Deaton Flanigen Productions was filming a video using iron shod horses and mules; and
Whereas, after investigation, the Metropolitan Department of Law believes that the settlement listed in Section 1 is fair and reasonable and recommends that the claim be compromised and settled in the amount of $23,068.61 and that these funds be deposited into the appropriate fund and account as determined by the Department of Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Department of Law is authorized to accept the amount of $23,068.61 in compromise and settlement of the property damage claim against Warner Music Group/Deaton Flanigen Productions.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
