RESOLUTION NO. RS2004-373
A resolution recognizing those employees of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County who are participating in the retirement incentive program.
WHEREAS, the following Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County employees are retiring after a long and sterling tenure in their profession which has earned them the respect and admiration of their colleagues and are well deserving of this recognition; and
WHEREAS, these dedicated and devoted public servants diligently worked for the betterment of the community and will sorely be missed; and
WHEREAS, their remarkable success as a public servant is attributed to their time-honored values of hard work and common sense and their ability to work well with people; and
WHEREAS, throughout their exemplary tenure they have distinguished themselves as public-spirited citizens and exceptional assets to the communities of Davidson County; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognizes all retiring Metro employees participating in this retirement incentive program and for their honorable and astute service to the good people of Tennessee and wish them happiness on their retirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing those employees of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County who are participating in the retirement incentive program.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
