RESOLUTION NO. RS2004-299
A resolution appropriating $130,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for community recreational improvements at Murrell School in the Edgehill Neighborhood Strategy Area.
WHEREAS, applications for the twenty seventh, twenty eighth, and twenty ninth years of the Community Development Block Grant program was approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance Nos. BL2000-495, BL2001-868, and BL2002-1230; and
WHEREAS, the applications for the twenty seventh, twenty eighth, and twenty ninth years included funds allocated to the Edgehill Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, a portion of these funds has been recommended for community recreational improvements at Murrell School in the Edgehill Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, plans for the above referenced project is available for review at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That $130,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to the Edgehill Neighborhood Strategy Area be appropriated for community recreational improvements at Murrell School in the Edgehill Neighborhood Strategy Area.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
