RESOLUTION NO. RS2004-147

A resolution approving a grant of $5,000 from The Frist Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Mayor's Office of Children and Youth for support of the Nashville Youth Alliance and appropriating this amount to the appropriate fund for this purpose.

Whereas, The Frist Foundation has awarded a grant of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Mayor's Office of Children and Youth for support of the Nashville Youth Alliance; and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted and funds appropriated to the appropriate revenue fund;

Now, therefore, be it resolved by The Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant of five thousand dollars ($5,000) from The Frist Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Mayor's Office of Children and Youth, for support of the Nashville Youth Alliance, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the amount of this grant is hereby appropriated to the appropriate revenue fund in the current fiscal year budget.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
