RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-5

A resolution requesting the Metropolitan Department of Public Works to designate certain roads within Nashville and Davidson County as “Snow Routes”.

WHEREAS, these designated snow routes are marked with the appropriate signage and are plowed and salted as needed during a snow storm; and

WHEREAS, individuals would know that these “Snow Routes” would be the first streets plowed and salted in the city; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Department of Public Works consider designating certain streets and roads within Davidson County as “Snow Routes” to ensure that major roads are cleared during a snow storm while at the same time conserving government resources.
