RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-28

A resolution approving an amendment to a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for health care for the homeless.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant previously approved by the Metropolitan Council (RS2003-1329) by and between the United States Department of Health and Human Services and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for healthcare for the homeless shall be amended to increase the grant award by twenty thousand three hundred sixty seven ($20,367) dollars for a total grant award of six hundred thirty seven thousand five hundred forty ($637,540) dollars, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That the amount of this grant is hereby appropriated to the Board of Health in the current fiscal year budget, based on the revenues estimated to be received and any match to be applied.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
