SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION NO. RS2002-1215

A resolution approving an amendment to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for an array of services including TB Epidemiology Studies and Antibiotic Baseline Survey.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract previously approved by Metropolitan Council (RS2002-1070) by and between the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, granting an amount not to exceed seven million four hundred thirty six thousand five hundred thirty one dollars ($7,436,531.00) flowing from the United States Department of Health and Human Services is hereby amended by increasing the total grant award to seven million five hundred twenty eight thousand sixty one dollars ($7,528,061.00) for an array of services including TB Epidemiology Studies and Antibiotic Baseline Survey, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
