RESOLUTION NO. RS99-70

A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Property to exercise an option to purchase a permanent easement (located on parcel 47 on tax map 156) in which to install and maintain a water line to serve the new Warner Park Nature Center Complex.

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Metropolitan Government to construct or have constructed a new water line to serve the Warner Park Nature Center Complex; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Property Administration has negotiated an option to purchase a permanent easement located in Davidson County on parcel 47 on tax map 156, as shown on Exhibit A and incorporated into this resolution by reference; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to approve the purchase of said easement

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. The Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to exercise the option to purchase the easement as shown on Exhibit A and to execute the necessary documents pertaining thereto.

SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
