RESOLUTION NO. RS99-7
A resolution appropriating $170,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for sidewalk construction on Weakley Avenue in the Fern Avenue Neighborhood Strategy Area.
WHEREAS, applications for the Twenty-Fourth and Twenty-Fifth Years of the Community Development Block Grant Program have been approved by Ordinance Nos. 097-955 and 098-1428; and
WHEREAS, the applications for the Twenty-Fourth and Twenty-Fifth Years included funds for Fern Avenue Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, plans showing proposed improvements are on file at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That $170,000 of Community Development Block Grant Funds are hereby appropriated for sidewalk construction on Weakley Avenue.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
