RESOLUTION NO. RS99-6

A resolution appropriating $100,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for park improvements at Shelby Park.

WHEREAS, application for the Twenty-Fifth Year of the Community Development Block Grant Program has been approved by Ordinance No. 098-1428; and

WHEREAS, the application for the Twenty-Fifth Year included funds for certain neighborhood improvements; and

WHEREAS, plans showing proposed improvements are on file at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That $100,000 of Community Development Block Grant Funds are hereby appropriated for park improvements at Shelby Park.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
