RESOLUTION NO. RS99-43

A resolution recognizing Dennis Randall Sexton on participating in the Pilgrim Robing Ceremony.

WHEREAS, Dennis Randall Sexton, a native Nashvillian was born on July 7, 1962, the son of W.R. and Beverly Jane Sexton; and

WHEREAS, Dennis attended Gower Elementary School, Bellevue Jr. High, Nashville Christian and he graduated from Hillwood High School in 1981; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Sexton has been employed with Nashville Electric Service since February of 1986; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Randall Sexton joined the West Nashville Moose Lodge 2221 in January of 1987; and

WHEREAS, on Saturday, August 21, 1999, Dennis Randall Sexton, participated in the Pilgrim Robing Ceremony; and

WHEREAS, he is very active in all aspects of the Lodge, Legion and State activities; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Dennis Randall Sexton for his outstanding accomplishments and achievements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Dennis Randall Sexton on participating in the Pilgrim Robing Ceremony.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a certificate to be presented to Dennis Randall Sexton.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
