RESOLUTION NO. RS99-11

A resolution approving an Amendment to Clinical Affiliation Agreement (extending the term of the agreement) between the Metropolitan Health Department and Tennessee State University for public health training for student nurses.

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-777 approved an Agreement between the Metropolitan Health Department and Tennessee State University for public health training for student nurses; and

WHEREAS, that Agreement needs to be amended to extend the term.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that:

Section 1: That the Amendment to Clinical Affiliation Agreement by and between the Metropolitan Health Department and Tennessee State University for public health training for student nurses, which Amendment extends the term of said Agreement from July 1, 1999 to June 30, 2000, with all other terms and conditions remaining the same, and which is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution, be, and the same is hereby, approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said Amendment.

Section 2: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
