RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1576

A resolution approving a contract for employment by and between Stephanie B. Coursey Bailey, M.D., M.S.H.S.A., and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, whereby Dr. Bailey agrees to perform the duties of the Chief Medical Director of Health.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That a contract for employment by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, and Dr. Stephanie B. Coursey Bailey, M.D., M.S.H.S.A., in an amount initially fixed at $171,017.00 per year, whereby Dr. Bailey agrees to perform the duties of the Chief Medical Director of Health, and for a term commencing on July 1, 2003, and extending through June 30, 2008, which contract is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
