RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1570
A resolution approving a grant from the Greater Nashville Regional Council,
to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting
by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission for home and
community based long-term care services.
Whereas, the Greater Nashville Regional Council, has awarded a grant in an
amount not to exceed fifty nine thousand dollars ($59,000) to the Metropolitan
Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan
Social Services Commission for home and community based long term care services;
and
Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the grant by and between the Greater Nashville Regional Council and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission for home and community based long-term care services, in an amount not to exceed fifty nine thousand dollars ($59,000), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the amount of three hundred fifty dollars ($350) be provided for the purpose of providing Metro’s matching share of the program.
Section 3. That the amount of this grant is hereby appropriated to the Department
of Social Services in the FY04 fiscal year budget, based on the revenues estimated
to be received and any match to be applied.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final
passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson
County requiring it.
