RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1536

A resolution approving a grant by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Health and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, for the provision of primary dental services at the Downtown Clinic for the Homeless.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the grant between the State of Tennessee, Department of Health and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, for the provision of primary dental services at the Downtown Clinic for the Homeless in an amount not to exceed seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000.00) and for a term beginning on July 1, 2003 and extending through June 30, 2004, a copy of which is attached hereto and be made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the amount of this grant is hereby appropriated to the Department of Health in the FY04 fiscal year budget, based on the revenues estimated to be received and any match to be applied.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
