RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1532

A resolution approving an amendment to an agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Chasetel Real Estate Holding Company, Inc. relating to the installation of telecommunications equipment.

Whereas, by adopting Ordinance No. BL99-121, the Metropolitan Council approved an agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Chasetel Real Estate Holding Company, Inc., relating to the installation of telecommunications equipment; and

Whereas, pursuant to the terms of the amendment (the “Amendment”) attached to this ordinance as Exhibit A both parties seek to amend the provisions of the agreement as set forth therein; and

Whereas, Ordinance No. BL99-121 provides that the agreement may be amended by Resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and

Whereas, the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County will benefit by accepting the Amendment to the agreement;

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government officers indicated on the Amendment are hereby authorized to execute it on behalf of the Metropolitan Government.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
