RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1519

A resolution amending Resolution No. RS2002-1181 by reappropriating $25,000, previously appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance of the general fund of the general services district for Bellevue’s Blue House, to be used for the restoration of the historic Belle Vue I log cabin.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RS2002-1181, $25,000 was appropriated and carried forward from the unappropriated fund balance of the General Fund of the General Services District for Bellevue’s Blue House; and

WHEREAS, the relocation of the Bellevue Blue House never materialized and said funds were not expended; and

WHERAS, $25,000 is needed for the restoration of the historic Belle Vue I log cabin.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Resolution No. RS2002-1181 is hereby amended by amending Exhibit B by deleting the $25,000 appropriation for Bellevue’s Blue House and reappropriating said funds from the unappropriated fund balance of the general fund of the general services district to provide funds for the restoration of the historic Belle Vue I log cabin.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
