PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT #9

Section 11.502 of Article 11, Chapter 5 of the Charter of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County shall be amended as follows:

By inserting after the word “mayor” and before the word “shall” wherein they appear in the first sentence of Section 11.502, the phrase “or a person designated by the mayor”.

This amendment would allow the Mayor to designate a person as a member of the Planning Commission in place of the Mayor.
