RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1437


A resolution recognizing Michael Craddock for his business and community service.


WHEREAS, Michael Craddock, a partner with Advantage Properties, has been active since 1980 in working with real estate; and

WHEREAS, although he sells real estate all over the Greater Nashville area he specializes in Inglewood real estate where he has sold more homes than anyone else; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Craddock graduated from East High School before continuing his education and graduating from the Institute of Real Estate Training along with completing additional real estate courses over the past twenty-two years, was united in marriage to Kimberly his soul mate, and from their blessed union was born Michael Jr., who has benefited from their love, understanding and support; and

WHEREAS, in addition to lending his management skills as a full time real estate agent, Michael Craddock devotes countless hours of his time interacting with and serving as founding member and the first President of the Rosebank Fortland Area Neighborhood Association, Inc., and the Riverwood Neighborhood Alliance along with other community activities; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Craddock is an active member of Dalewood Baptist Church where he served as Deacon Chairman and continues to serve as Deacon. He also is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Sumner County Association of Realtors; and

WHEREAS, it is men like Michael Craddock who selflessly gives of his time, talent, energy and who makes the community of Inglewood a great place to live, work, and worship, and it is only fitting and proper that such a public servant be honored and recognized; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognizes Michael Craddock as a public servant to his community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Michael Craddock for his business and community service.

Section 2. The Metropolitan Council Office is directed to prepare a copy of this Resolution to be presented to Michael Craddock.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
