RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1392

A resolution authorizing the Metropolitan Mayor to execute an Infrared Thermography Study grant made available to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

Whereas, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has made available to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services, a grant in the amount of Six Thousand Four Hundred Forty dollars ($6, 440) for an Infrared Thermography Study; and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant for an Infrared Thermography Study be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute and accept a grant from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated, herein.

Section 2: That the amount of this grant is hereby appropriated to the Department of Water and Sewerage in the current fiscal year budget, based on the revenues estimated to be received and any match to be applied.

Section 3: That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
