RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1386
A resolution approving a contract by and between the Meharry Medical College
and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting
by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to conduct certain research
as part of the grant for Asthma Disparities in Cohorts at Risk for Morbidity.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government
of Nashville and Davidson County.
Section 1: That the contract entered into by and between Meharry Medical College
and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board
of Health, to conduct certain research as part of the grant for Asthma Disparities
in Cohorts at Risk for Morbidity, in an amount not to exceed eighteen thousand
nine hundred ninety two dollars ($18,992), and for a term beginning on September
30, 2002 and extending through August 1, 2003, which agreement is attached
hereto and made a part of this resolution, be and the same is hereby approved
and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement.
Section 2: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
