RESOLUTION NO. RS2003-1329

A resolution approving a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for health care for the homeless.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant contract by and between the United States Department of Health and Human Services and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for a term of November 1, 2002 to October 31, 2003, in an amount not to exceed six hundred seventeen thousand one seventy three dollars ($617,173) for healthcare for the homeless, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
