A resolution approving a contract by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, and the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, for the provision of laboratory testing.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, and the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, for provision of laboratory testing for Particular Matter 2.5 Microns and environmental testing from samples submitted by the Metropolitan Government to the Tennessee State Laboratory to be billed at an amount not to exceed $24.00 per test sample to be billed monthly by the State of Tennessee, and for a term beginning on July 1, 2002 and extending through June 30, 2003, a copy of which Contract is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
