A resolution approving a grant from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, to the Metropolitan Government, by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for immunization services for children and adults and for the control of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

Section 1. That the grant from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, providing immunization services for children and adults and for the control of vaccine-preventable diseases, in an amount not to exceed $389,000.00, and for a term beginning on January 1, 2002 and ending on December 31, 2002, which grant agreement is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said grant.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
