RESOLUTION NO. RS2002-1267

A resolution approving a grant from the Greater Nashville Regional Council, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission for personal care services to eligible persons.

Whereas, the Greater Nashville Regional Council has awarded a grant to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission for personal care services for eligible persons; and

Whereas, such services shall be compensated at the rate of $20.50 per hour for personal care and homemaker services and home delivered meals at the cost of $6.00 per meal; and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant by and between the Greater Nashville Regional Council and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission for personal care services for eligible persons, to be compensated at a rate of $20.50 per personal care and homemaker services and home delivered meals a the cost of $6.00 per meal, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2 That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
